Refund & Return Policy

At Vella Lighting, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
All original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or shipping damage
Returns showing signs of use, installation, modification, or missing packaging may be denied or partially refunded
2. Return Scenarios
A. Non-Quality Related Returns (Change of Mind)
You are responsible for return shipping costs
We will provide the appropriate return address
Refunds will exclude original shipping fees and may be subject to restocking fees in some cases
B. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We offer a full refund or free replacement
Return shipping is covered by us
A prepaid return label will be provided
Supporting photos or videos must be submitted with your return request
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
Items that have been used, assembled, or installed
Items without original packaging
Custom or special orders
Gift cards or store credits
Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
4. Product Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order upon delivery
Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us within 7 days
Failure to report shipping damage or defects within 30 days may void return eligibility
5. Natural Materials Disclaimer
Some of our products are handcrafted or made with natural materials. Variations in color, surface texture, or slight imperfections are normal and not considered defects. If unsure, please contact us before purchase.
6. Special & Custom Orders
All custom-made or special orders:
Are non-cancellable and non-returnable once production begins
Please double-check your specifications before placing an order.
7. Return Process
Review our return policy to confirm eligibility
Contact us at support@vellalighting.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos/videos
We will confirm whether the return is eligible and provide:
Return address (for standard returns), or
Prepaid return label (for defective/damaged items)
Ship the item using the instructions provided
Share tracking info with us once shipped
We will inspect the item within 3–6 business days of receipt
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
8. Refund Information
Refunds are issued after item inspection
Refunds typically appear within 7–10 days, depending on your bank
If your refund has not appeared after that time:
Contact your bank or card issuer
Then contact us at support@vellalighting.com
9. Order Cancellation Policy
Within 24 hours of placing order: Free cancellation
After 24 hours but before shipment: 5% cancellation fee (covers admin/processing fees)
The order cannot be cancelled after it is shipped, but you can apply for a return after receiving the goods.
10. Pricing & Information Disclaimer
We strive for accuracy in product descriptions and pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to applicable taxes. We reserve the right to:
Correct pricing errors
Update product details
Cancel orders in cases of major discrepancies or availability issues
